Designs #7 Fendi Baguette and coursework (!!!)

So there is this “Design your own Fendi Baguette” thing which i thought i should try since i quite like Fendi myself. The tools were pretty user-UNfriendly (e.g drawing tool). So my design is pretty simple.

And i went to China to look at coursework materials! there were alot of things really, some too pretty. I bought the gold sequined cloth for my final product. I bought 1.5m of it, i hope it’s enough!!! and i gathered some pictures and samples, so i can ask my friends in China to buy the cloth or sequins for me if i need them.

Need to be more productive! busy busy holiday! Mine’s just started and it’s ending soon!

Designs #6 Card design for Saven 08

Saven 08 is a charity project (outside the school). If any of you had seen a big apple going around to give free hugs, that was my friend. She approached me to design a card to be sold for charity. “The theme is ‘apple’. You can design anything about apple.” That was what she told me.

When i thought about apple, the sleek logo of Apple computers came to my mind first. I decided to do something like that because I thought that looked very pretty in a very commercial way. So instead of the fresh red apples with fresh juice threatening burst out, I did one that is hard, sleek and shiny. I did two versions. Here. (two different designs by the way)

Designs #5 Coursework progress plus card design

It’s April already!

I have been very very busy with the World Scholars’ Cup competition and block test. I can finally look at my coursework now. And the look of it is worrying. But today Mr Gan gave me an idea. Here:

1. design a dress for Philip Goodwind (the golden manneguin) to wear

2. hang Philip up (as in suspend her in the air)

3. drape cloth or beads or feathers to create fire effect

It’s a brilliant idea which also makes my coursework easier for me. However, all my photoshoot ideas are going down the drain! Im probably taking this idea though coz i think it will be quite nice to have Philip wearing a dress and hanging “up there”!

Here is a simple design i did for some cards that were sold for Charity some time ago. The theme is love by the way.

P.S Lucy and I JOINTLY named the mannequin Philip Goodwind. I know it’s ugly, but it got stuck!

Designs #4 Hello from a “more graceful” me (plus class tee design)

HELLO PEOPLE, back from Graces!

Graces was generally fun. The highlights were of course staying with friends and attending the formal dinner. I stayed with Lucy, Lingxue and Priscilla. We watched trashy drama in our room and ate a lot of tibits! Then we filled in the night with gossips haha. The formal dinner was fun! We got to see a lot of people looking really really different. (oh and it was fun to dress up too). Couldn’t believe i won Miss Confident. (Almost placed money bets against it) but was happy that i did. May post one or 2 photos up here to share when i get them.

Here’s the class tee design i did some time ago. It was approved at first until some teachers thought that putting alcohol up there was bad influence -.-
